UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey made a sensational appearance at WrestleMania 31 where she and The Rock had a face-off against WWE Chief Operating Officer, Triple H, and Chief Brand Officer, Stephanie McMahon. Rousey has hinted at a return to WWE by tweeting that she is ‘just getting started’.
The People’s Champion and Rousey share the same agent, Brad Slater of William Morris Endeavor and hence, they are good friends. Slater revealed that Rousey’s appearance at WrestleMania was ‘in the works for months’.
He also clarified that UFC President Dana White knew about Rousey’s appearance in the WWE ring. He said, “I’ve told you many times how I work with Dana [White]. I always, always call him and make sure he is OK with anything we ever do in movies, television and otherwise.”
Slater was, however, reluctant to reveal whether Rousey would feature in a WWE match claiming it is unclear.
