Unpopular Opinion: The Firefly Funhouse is becoming stale

The fun house is getting old, here is the next step for Wyatt.
The fun house is getting old, here is the next step for Wyatt.

For months now, fans have been interested in Bray Wyatt's new persona as the demonic host of the Firefly Funhouse. After the revelation of the fiend, fans were expecting him to make his return to the ring soon after. However, it's been a month since revealing the character and he is yet to take part in a match.

Throughout the episodes, the WWE Universe was just reminded of the past feuds Wyatt had with The Shield and Randy Orton as well as some behind-the-scenes talks about his days as Husky Harris. At this point, without any matches under the new character's belt, the Funhouse is having less effect with each passing week, causing fans to lose a little bit of interest.

Why is it taking him so long to wrestle?

As much as we're ready for Bray Wyatt to make his return, Wyatt and WWE ring announcer JoJo recently had a child together which could've resulted in him taking some time off to be there for his family.

Outside of his personal life, in-ring, there is no one as of yet who would be a legitimate opponent for Wyatt to face. With such build up for this character, a bad feud will make all that effort and excitement of his return go to waste.

Who should face the Fiend?

There are some wrestlers who are yet to be in a feud that the fans want to see. When you look at the persona of Wyatt, there are a few others that ring a bell as to who can face him. Aleister Black, (Demon) Finn Balor, and AJ Styles are just a few stars who will create great matches along with Wyatt, but if there's anything that we've learned over the months is that it might go to Baron Corbin.

The Firefly Fun House is becoming a bit old because fans want to see something new. Its been a copy and paste broadcast between both RAW and Smackdown Live to which there's still no word exactly as to which brand he belongs to.

One thing they should definitely stay away from is giving Wyatt the Lars Sullivan treatment, meaning using him to help with their ratings crisis feature him on both brands. He should remain exclusive to one brand that will make fans want to tune in. Due to the Wild Card rule, he might end up on both brands which will be the quickest way to make him less more of an attraction.

The creative team can't drag this out too much longer otherwise it will take away any thrill from his actual return. Check out the latest episode of the Funhouse below.
