– Leva Bates or famously known as Blue Pants has received a lot of heat backstage in recent times. Bates was brought on to NXT to put some talent over and had not signed a formal contract with the WWE.
Bates is an accomplished wrestler in the indie circuit and quickly got over with the fans. Her Blue Pants moniker was given to her after she appeared on of the NXT show wearing blue pants. Fans started chanting her name and Leva was loved all around.
It was reported that Bates had some tiffs with some of the NXT Talent for being so over with the fans. After her loss against Alexa Bliss, it was thought that Bates was over, but she tweeted asking fans to not believe what people said. Her status with the WWE has been very fragile after it was revealed that it was not the arrogance that caused her to face some heat, but something else. It was reported that Bates did not respect the spot she was in and often showed her complete disregard by being on the phone during the NXT tapings.
There were also some reports that Bates being drunk in full public view during the Summerslam weekend. It was observed that Blue Pants acted very inappropriately and drank too much during her outing. Her behaviour angered some of the WWE corporate employees from Stamford. On top of that Bates missed her flight back to Florida due to her drunkenness and could not join rest of the crew members.
– WWE hosted a Live Event in Merida, Mexico. Adam Rose faced Fandango in a match where he received a kick on the head. Medical trainers had to be rushed to the ring and it was reported that Rose received a concussion. Adam Rose tweeted about this incident.
– An interesting angle is supposed to take place on RAW with respect to Rusev. There is a huge speculation that Lana might appear on the show after their real life engagement was acknowledged by the WWE.
– It was reported earlier that Sami Zayn is set to appear at the EVOLVE Live Event. Zayn is supposed to cut a promo and has an in-ring appearance in the middle of the show. The crowd would be excited to see the NXT Star who was also extremely popular on the independent circuit.
