Update on Carlito's WWE return, Stephanie's celebrations, Santino Marella

The WWE is interested in signing Carlito

- There have been rumours flying around about the possible return of Carlito to the WWE. At this moment, there is some authenticity in the rumours as the WWE are pursuing to sign him.

Since the departure of Alberto Del Rio and other notable Latin stars, the WWE has been left with a void when it comes to reaching out to the Latin audience and also to have that Lucha Libre aspect in their roster. The WWE are very much interested in signing the former WWE Intercontinental and U.S Champion but there is a catch.

The WWE has apparently offered not offered the right amount of money to sign the Latin star. The amount is said to be so low that Carlito was not interested in signing a deal. The current scenario gives an idea that Carlito will be willing to sign a deal if the remuneration is at a respectable level.

This is at a time when the WWE is re-packaging Los Matadores and want Carlito to be a part of the masked team in a new avatar. Carlito is the brother of Diego and a cousin of Fernando, who are the members of LosMatadores.

- Stephanie McMahon celebrates her 39th birthday today and it sure calls for celebration for one of the best heels in recent memory. Other notable birthdays include Chris Nowinski who turns 37, April Hunter who turns 41 and former ECW star Chilly Willy who celebrates her 46th birthday.
