Vince McMahon confirms The Ultimate Warrior ‘s return

Vince McMahon, Chairman and CEO of WWE, has officially announced the return of The Ultimate Warrior to WWE in the form of a character in the upcoming video game WWE 2K14.

Warrior retired from professional wrestling in 1999 and embarked on a public speaking career.

He is best known for pinning Hogan after a Warrior Splash in WrestleMania VI to become the first wrestler to hold the WWF Championship and Intercontinental Championship simultaneously.

Whether Warrior’s appearance in the game would lead to a return to the company remains to be seen.

McMahon’s tweet read:
