Kofi Kingston revealed in a 2017 interview with Sportskeeda’s Riju Dasgupta that Vince McMahon stomped his foot and began “rocking out” when he heard The New Day’s music for the first time in 2014.
Speaking on the debut episode of their Feel The Power podcast, the New Day members recalled how they watched on as the WWE Chairman danced in a way that he never has before.
Xavier Woods: “I remember it was us four and Road Dogg in there, and he [Vince] was just tapping his foot.”
Kofi Kingston: “So loud. It was so loud!”
Big E: “I had to bite my bottom lip. I thought it was a joke.”
Kofi Kingston: “I had never seen Vince McMahon dance like this. You’ve never seen this man dance like this. You’ve never seen him… It was incredible.”
Woods and Big E interrupted Kingston after he said McMahon’s name, as they had agreed throughout the podcast not to mention their boss on the show.
