What's the story?

Batista and CM Punk have seemingly been able to remain good friends over the past few years following their exits from WWE, so much so that The Animal shared a hilarious video of the duo hanging out this weekend.

In case you didn't know...

Batista's role in Guardians of The Galaxy has meant that he is attending a number of comic cons both as an actor and as a wrestler, whilst CM Punk penned a Marvel Comic Book series, which means that he too now attends comic con's to show off his work.

The duo both left WWE a number of years ago, with Punk walking away from WWE back in January 2014 and Batista following suit in June 2015. Both stars have been pushing their careers forward outside of the wrestling business since, with Punk heading over to UFC and Batista becoming a well-known actor.

The heart of the matter

It seems that Batista and CM Punk were finally in the same place at the same time and they decided to make the moment memorable by uploading the following video to Youtube where it seems that Punk has turned into a "diva."

Batista lists Punk's achievements over the past few years whilst also stating that "people change" since the video shows Punk reacting to the fact that someone put chickpea in his salad.

What's next?

It was announced yesterday that Jon and Erich Hoeber are set to write an action-comedy that will be set around Batista, whilst CM Punk's next UFC fight has been officially confirmed for UFC 225 against Mike Jackson.

Author's take

Punk and Batista are the two big names that have been rumored to be returning to WWE for the past few years, but it seems that the two men now have lives outside of the company.

This video shows two friends hanging out and enjoying themselves away from the cameras and the pressure and it shows that they are only human and look like they are both in great shape.
