What does WWE plan to do with El Generico?

El Generico, WWE‘s new luchador talent, has been in the news for the past two weeks. But the question that remained on the minds of many pro wrestling fans is how the WWE was planning to use this high flying wrestler. Known especially for his comic roles in ROH, Generico is without doubt, a talent that can replace old mexican wrestlers like Mysterio.

However, there are rumors around that WWE is planning to remove Generico’s mask and give him a completely new gimmick. He will be spending close to a year in developmental, after which, based on his performance, will be sent to the main roster.

It is important to see how WWE plans to handle Generico’s gimmick because it is his luchador presence that gave him his present success and if the above said news is true, then WWE will be taking a lot of risk removing his mask.

Also, WWE must plan to bring back the Cruiserweight Championship to put these wrestlers into a proper feud as already there are several wrestlers laying stale in the roster without a decent feud.

In addition to this, WWE has planned to sign several other Indy stars such as Sami Callihan and Adam Cole of DGUSA and ROH respectively.
