WWE Superstars Michin and Chelsea Green have been at each other's throats for weeks now. The always arrogant Chelsea has a habit of causing trouble and talking smack to other performers, which is something Michin does not stand for.
As a result of the smack talk by the Hot Mess, both she and her partner, Piper Niven, have been battling the 35-year-old star on seemingly a weekly basis, but things are going to the next level on SmackDown. Michin and Green will be going one-on-one in a Dumpster Match. Some fans may be unaware of what the rules are for this unique stipulation, but thankfully, they're easy to follow.
Most notably, there is just one way to a Dumpster Match. The two stars start the match in the ring, as is standard, and the first to throw their opponent into a dumpster that is either on the stage or right next to the ring wins. This is similar to a Casket Match.
Putting your opponent in the dumpster is the only way to win the WWE bout, which means being tossed into one is also the only way to lose. This means there are no count-outs and no disqualification. Any weapons can be used and interference is legal unless otherwise prevented by General Manager Nick Aldis.
The most recent Dumpster Match took place on WWE RAW seven years ago
While Michin vs. Chelsea Green is the next Dumpster Match in WWE, there have been a few notable ones in history. The most famous is a bout between Terry Funk and Mick Foley vs. the New Age Outlaws at WrestleMania 14. However, that is not the most recent.
Instead, the most recent example of a Dumpster Match in WWE took place on April 24, 2017. That date saw an episode of Monday Night RAW air on the USA Network where the infamous match type was brought back.
The seemingly unstoppable and formidable Braun Strowman entered the match against the most unlikely of opponents: Kalisto. The 37-year-old luchador not only battled The Monster Among Men, but he shockingly won the bout by knocking the latter off of the apron into the dumpster. It was a fluke victory as Strowman had landed on his feet, but it was a win nonetheless.
Unfortunately for Kalisto, the victory was one of few he likely wishes he did not earn in WWE. Immediately after losing, Braun destroyed Kalisto. He then proceeded to put the former Cruiserweight Champion in the dumpster, push it up the ramp, and then push it even further until it went flying off of the stage.
