#3 Roman Reigns wins
One of the awkward truths of WWE’s attempts to get Roman Reigns over as the face of the company is that at least a vocal minority, and arguably a majority of the fans have typically not been behind them as at least their top choice for that role.
When Reigns announced that he needed to step away from WWE to battle leukemia, fans of all stripes rallied behind him the way they only tend to do when there’s a real-life issue at stake.
While Reigns may not be everyone’s favorite, we’ve arrived at a rare moment when the fans are few and far between that wouldn’t be happy to see him win the Universal title, and thus return to the throne, notching a win for not only himself or all of WWE, but hope over cancer.
For Reigns to lose his first title shot back, especially at a high profile show as WrestleMania, would be a big misstep. If he’s in this match, WWE will likely make the most of it by getting the title back over his shoulder.
