WWE announced a few weeks ago that they will host the first ever all-woman PPV event called WWE Evolution in October this year. This will be the first of its kind as the company could be looking to make up for the Greatest Royal Rumble event which took place in April and featured only male superstars and personnel. If Ronda did break Asuka's undefeated streak, having the match take place only once would've been less likely to happen.

Before WrestleMania 34 Asuka was unbeatable and dominant, just as Ronda Rousey is today. They were both signed to the same brand and could bump into each other several times. A big match like this would've happened again at WWE Evolution since WWE has held several dream matches more times than we thought they would, like the 'Once in a Lifetime' match that happened twice. Perhaps Ronda and Asuka were going to main event the show.
