It has been well over two years since Big E last wrestled in WWE. The former WWE Champion suffered a serious neck and spine injury back in March 2022 and hasn't been cleared for in-ring competition yet.

There has been speculation on his return and what he could do if he became an active wrestler again. However, the creative team reportedly had no concrete plans for him until now. The star has been a huge presence on WWE panels before and after PLEs but has not made his presence felt during the programming.

Kofi Kingston, though, provided an encouraging update on Big E's status, revealing that he should appear on Monday Night RAW. The former Tag Team Champion said that his former partner should be back for The New Day's 10th anniversary as it would be illogical to have a New Day celebration without the former WWE Champion.

As the faction made its debut on November 28, 2014, the expectation is that WWE will celebrate the anniversary on Monday, November 25, just five days before the Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event.

Details of WWE's plans remain unknown until now, but the creative team should have something special planned for the milestone moment of one of the greatest tag teams of all time.

As for the former WWE Champion, his return could help Xavier Woods make amends with Kofi Kingston, as there has been tension between the two friends lately, with the former teasing a heel turn for weeks now.

Kofi Kingston praises Big E ahead of The New Day's 10th anniversary

Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E had a great time as members of The New Day. However, when E was ruled out indefinitely, due to the injury, Woods and Kingston maintained their status as one of the top tag teams in WWE.

Speaking with the New York Post, Kofi Kingston had nothing but high praise for the former WWE Champion and everything he did for The New Day.

With a few days left until the faction's 10th anniversary, it remains to be seen if the former New Day member will show up eventually and what the plans are for him.
