As noted last week, UFC fighter Chael Sonnen had confirmed his presence at the Wrestlemania 31 and WWE HOF. He further said that he would be having some official talks with the authorities at the event though the WWE officials denied having any talks with him about having the UFC star at the big event. Even now, Sonnen is unofficially expected at Wrestlemania 31 as it’s still a part of his itinerary.He will be having an unofficial talk with WWE’s Kevin Dunn with regard to his role in WWE TV. According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sonnen will also be attending the WWE Hall of Fame and the man who arranged his meeting with Kevin Dunn was WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco (who is a friend of Sonnen).
Sonnen may be a possible candidate for WWE TV announcer role and his involvement as a wrestler seems unlikely. According to Brazillian media report, UFC fighter Wanderlei Silva too claimed that he had received an offer from the WWE which was better than any other offer he had received from MMA so far. But according to reports the WWE officials denied having any talks with Silva who is currently under UFC deal.
