#2 She's the Lynchpin of the Division

A pun that may even make The Man proud, one that holds true regardless of fan sentiment or Charlotte's alliance. Time and again, WWE has proved that for them Charlotte presents the pinnacle of their revamped women's division. From winning the newly inaugurated title to main eventing countless PPV's and to breaking Asuka's vaunted streak. Charlotte Flair remains perched at the top of the heap.

Even taking a backseat last year to Lynch's phoenix-like comeback and Rousey's meteoric rise has failed to put a dent on this. This is simply because whether one likes to admit it or not, Charlotte Flair brings the A-Game when she steps between the ropes. Proof positive lies in her low-key best year of performances in 2018.

Though overshadowed by a stellar Rowdy début, her Wrestlemania match against Asuka was an instant mat classic. Her division defining feud against Lynch in the Summer might have faltered due to misaligned motives, but it resulted in a perfect turn come Survivor Series. The surprisingly brutal genre match against Rousey also tested the rest of the company's field, especially dominated by the men. In between her and Lynch's chemistry shown at a five-star classic at Evolution.

Finally, she put her money where her mouth is in a showcase against Lynch and Asuka at TLC; being the connective thread of violence holding together the first class bout and PPV ender. Love or hate her, Charlotte Flair proves to constantly be a big match player and there isn't any bigger match than the main event of Wrestlemania.
