Hulk Hogan's legacy in the pro wrestling industry shines bright like a diamond. The WWE Hall of Famer has records in almost every top 10 list in the Stamford-based company such as ranking third in longest world championship reign with 1,474 days or ranking fifth in number of world titles held with 12 being the number. There is rarely a person within the sports entertainment industry who does not know about The Hulkster.
Among the several times he returned to WWE, one of the contracts that ended with Hulk getting fired was in 2015. He returned for the fourth time on February 24, 2014, after being absent from the Stamford-based promotion for several years. He could not be a part of the in-ring competition, hence, WWE used him as an ambassador and host for WrestleMania 30. His contract was terminated by the company on July 24, 2015.
So, why was Hulk Hogan fired in 2015? Well, it so happens that back in 2015, the National Enquirer released an audio from his leaked controversial s*x tape. In that, he had confessed to being "racist to a point" and used a racial slur about his daughter's then-boyfriend. WWE implemented its no-tolerance policy and fired The Immortal One.
Following that, the company distanced itself from The Incredible and even removed almost all references to him from its website. Moreover, his entry to the WWE Hall of Fame page was erased as well. Hulk Hogan later apologized for his remarks.
WWE reinstated The Hulkster into the Hall of Fame on July 15, 2018. He made his on-screen return as the host of Crown Jewel on November 2, 2018, which marked his fifth return to the Stamford-based promotion.

He has been rallying for Donald Trump for the upcoming presidential elections and also addressed the recent assassination attempt on the former President of the United States of America.
He called the opposition party "criminals" during his speech, and made certain controversial comments.
"So, all you criminals, all you low-lives, all you sc*mbags, all you drug dealers, and all you crooked politicians need to answer one question, brother. What you gonna do when Donald Trump and all the Trumpamaniacs run wild on you, brother?" Hulk Hogan said.
The Hulkster explained why he decided to support Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential campaign before appearing at the Republican National Convention (RNC).
