Why Shane McMahon and The Miz should win the SmackDown Live tag team championships
On the latest episode of SmackDown Live, we saw the commissioner of SD Live and the Best in the World officially agree to form a tag team with The Miz. The A-Lister had been trying to convince the prodigal son for long, and he finally agreed this week to tag with him.
Now, this new tag team will definitely be a part of tag team matches just like their match against the Bryant Brothers. But this time expect the creative team to book this duo as a serious tag team.
The Bar are the current tag team champions of the blue brand, and they seem to have exhausted their feuds with the top tier teams of SD Live.
They defeated the Usos and the New Day at the TLC PPV, and will probably feud with a new opponent in the build to the Royal Rumble PPV. However, I've never liked the idea of Sheamus and Cesaro as a tag team.
Having said that, the SmackDown tag team division needs a new face at the top, and in my opinion, the team of Shane McMahon and The Miz should win the titles next.
They seem to be the freshest thing on the entire SmackDown roster, and given that this team can feud with the other top tag teams of the blue brand after winning the titles, it just gives us another reason why they should win.
If we look at the other options on SmackDown's roster - the Good Brothers are being pushed of late, but we all know they won't win the championships soon, so to just shake up the entire division, the WWE should split The Bar and crown the team of Shane McMahon and The Miz tag team champions.
