WOW World Champion Tessa Blanchard has talked a big game leading up to the latest episode of Women of Wrestling.

Previously, a #1 contender was to be decided, with Jungle Grrrl, the Beast, and Havok facing off in a triple threat match. However, Havok's tag team partner Hazard interfered in the bout, forcing a no-contest.

With that, Blanchard stated that she would be the one to decide her #1 contender. This week's episode kicked off with the champion meeting with Sophia Lopez to make the all-important decision. We cut to the ring as Blanchard was handed a briefcase.

Lana Star, with The Beverly Hills Babe, went to the ring to reveal that she would be entering the WOW Tag Team Championship Series. Many assumed that she'd be siding with The Beverly Hills Babe, but instead of the obvious decision, Star chose Faith the Lioness.

The Babe didn't take kindly to this announcement, calling out Star for trying to pass her over. She claimed that her issues weren't with the Lioness, who was only trying to climb the ladder in WOW. Star stated that she grew up in Hollywood where dreams are broken every single day. However, she gave the Babe a chance to bring her dream back to life. If she could defeat the Lioness, she'd be back in as her tag team partner. But if she failed, she would be cut from Star's side.

Babe went low with a kick and pounded the Lioness into the mat with an elbow to the back. Faith's face was bounced off the mat and was choked in the ropes, but recovered, sending Babe down with a clothesline. A dropkick sent the Babe outside, where she set her sights on Star.

The Lioness came closer to the ropes, allowing the Babe to yank her feet out and sling her knee into the ring post. Back inside she worked over the leg with several knee drops. A Figure-4-Lock was blocked, but another kick to the knee allowed the Babe to maintain on top.

The Figure-4-Lock was locked in, but the Lioness turned it around and sent the Babe into the corner. A pair of elbows stunned the Babe, but as the Lioness whipped her into the corner, her knee gave out. The Babe took her leg out again and dropped her with the facebuster. However, the Babe was too distracted at the thought of rubbing the victory in the face of Star, allowing the Lioness to roll her up for the win.

Results: Faith the Lioness defeated The Beverly Hills Babe via pinfall.

Abilene Maverick was rounding the building until she ran into Stephy Slays, who demanded another match with her. Maverick said that the one win Slays had over her was an absolute fluke, and she wouldn't get an opportunity at her unless she was able to defeat a strong opponent.

The Governor's Daughter ran from Adrenaline early on, attempting to keep the pace slow. Adrenaline locked her in a waist hold, managing to bring her down with a mat slam. Maverick managed to break the waist hold and lock one in of her own, but Adrenaline easily escaped and took her to the mat with an armbar.

Maverick got back to her feet but a hurricanrana and dropkick took her down. She went for a gut shot and a face slam to the mat, only for Adrenaline to withstand the punishment and driving Maverick into the corner.

Maverick begged for mercy, and as Adrenaline considered it, Maverick sent her into the second turnbuckle, following up with a dropkick. A knee drop on the chest set up a near fall.

Adrenaline was caught in a rear naked choke. Though Maverick couldn't keep her in the hold for long, it did the trick, leaving her gasping for air as Maverick pelted her ribs with kicks. Adrenaline was sent into the ropes but rebounded with a tilt-a-whirl Russian leg sweep. Maverick kicked out at one and hit a kneeling facebuster. However, some taunting to the crowd allowed Adrenaline to get back in the match, blocking a suplex and sending her into the corner.

A Samoan drop nearly ended Maverick's night. She responded with a small package, but Adrenaline kicked out. Adrenaline put her away with the Code Red for the win.

Results: Adrenaline defeated Abilene Maverick via pinfall.

A Siren promo played following the match, with the Voodoo Doll setting her sights on the Tag Team Titles. Holidead roamed the halls behind her as we faded to black.

Next up featured the return of the tag team of Keta Rush and Stephy Slays. The long-time friends have been focused on their solo careers for some time now, but with the tournament and a chance at tag team gold, the Bully Busters looked to rekindle their bond and make a run through the brackets. However, they'd have to face Siren and her partner Holidead.

Siren and Holidead tried to take over early with a sneak attack, but Rush and Slays responded with a pair of boots and stereo headscissors, sending them outside.

Slays and Siren were the legal women, with Slays getting a near fall early. Holidead and Slays tagged in, and Rush nearly got a win with a running crossbody. However, Holidead countered a tilt-a-whirl maneuver with a sidewalk slam, nearly dropping her on her neck.

A body slam set up for a running leg drop, leaving Rush clutching her throat. Rush fought her way out of the corner of Siren and Holidead, and sent Holidead over with an armdrag. Slays tagged in, bringing Holidead to the mat with a series of clotheslines and a big boot, allowing Siren to tag in. Slays battered both women, leaving Siren on the mat as Slays rolled up the wrong competitor.

As Siren and Rush moved outside, Holidead dropped Slays with a double underhook facebuster.

Results: Holidead & Siren defeated the Bully Busters via pinfall.

Jessie Jones met the Beverly Hills Babe backstage and attempted to get her hopes up. Jones said that the Babe she knew, the Bullet Babe, wouldn't let a loss like this get her down. Tonight they were going out on the town.

The two competitors jockeyed for position, with Serpentine getting the upper hand. A modified STF was nearly locked in, but Blanchard escaped her grip. Blanchard attempted a choke only for Serpentine to slither out.

A kick to the gut from Blanchard wasn't enough to shake Serpentine, who took the champion down with a headscissors. Blanchard broke away again, tying the challenger up in a hammerlock. Blanchard would move onto a headscissors of her own, but Serpentine escaped and rolled up Blanchard. The Undeniable One kicked out at one.

Serpentine countered an armdrag with another pinfall and another. Blanchard seemed off-balance and barely above water, with Serpentine managing to catch her at every opportunity, meeting her counter for counter. However, a back elbow smash would floor Serpentine, finally giving Blanchard the upper hand.

With Serpentine on the second ropes, Blanchard connected with a running elbow to the back and a running dropkick. Serpentine kicked out of a pinfall attempt only to be taken back down with a snapmare and a kick to the spine.

A short arm clothesline leveled Serpentine. Blanchard held onto her challenger's arm, picking her up for another one. The third attempt was blocked, with Serpentine catching her in a tilt-a-whirl Russian leg sweep, floating over to the Boston Crab and trapping her arms as well, bouncing her head on the bottom turnbuckle while stretching her extremities.

Blanchard was beaten in the corner with chest chops. Though she managed to recover enough to send Serpentine to the apron, Serpentine countered with a slap to the face and sent her across the ring with a to rope arm drag. Blanchard went outside to escape but was met by a jumping hurricanrana from the apron, sending her crashing into the barricade.

Serpentine sent Blanchard inside, allowing the Champion to use the momentum to bounce off the ropes, responding with a bullet speed like suicide dive. Up on the apron, Serpentine blocked a piledriver. A massive knee to the jaw stunned the Born Legend, but she was able to block the bicycle kick. Serpentine was sent inside, with Blanchard hoping to suplex her to the barricade. It was blocked, ending with Blanchard getting suplexed back into the ring.

A clothesline and back elbow strike left Blanchard gasping on the bottom rope. She was unable to avoid a running low dropkick, which saw Blanchard's neck snap back with a whiplash effect. She broke away from a pinfall and dropped her challenger with a full nelson facebuster. Serpentine kicked out.

Blanchard attempted a Top Rope Magnum, but Serpentine avoided it, responding with a running knee strike. A shoulder breaker gave her another near fall. As Serpentine went up, her knees were taken out, allowing Blanchard to drop her with a second rope springboard Magnum. Somehow, Serpentine kicked out.

A double foot stomp was avoided by Blanchard, allowing her to connect with a superkick and the Diamond DDT, finally putting away Serpentine.

Results: Tessa Blanchard defeated Serpentine via pinfall.

Following the match, Blanchard was surrounded by Jungle Grrrl, The Beast, and Havok alongside Hazard, with all three women wanting a shot at the WOW World Champion.
