Seth Rollins joined his Shield brothers as a Grand Slam Champion when he defeated The Miz and Finn Balor to win his first Intercontinental Championship. The Kingslayer was the favorite to win the title and backed up what he said.
The three put up a clinical performance with everyone getting great offenses to make the match even more promising. The Miz dropped his cowardly heel image by dismissing The Miztourage and preferring to go alone.
The A-Lister and Balor had some believable near-falls which kept the crowd on the edge of their seats. But it was Rollins who swooped in on the opportunity and pinned Miz after a stomp to the head.
After a 65-minute performance against Roman Reigns and John Cena, Seth Rollins had become the top babyface of the Red brand, and now with the IC title around his waist, Monday Night Rollins has claimed his throne.
