One of the most requested matches on the road to WrestleMania is definitely Dean Ambrose vs Roman Reigns, the idea for this match came about when Reigns returned to the WWE and announced that he would be returning to in-ring action.

It was even more apparent that something was going to happen between these two superstars when WWE suddenly re-united The Shield, as many expected Ambrose to turn heel once again and face Roman at WrestleMania.

But things haven't occurred in that manner, as The Shield re-united and separated without any betrayals, as these superstars returned to their individual paths. Reigns went back to his feud with Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins returned to his pursuit of the Universal Title, while Dean Ambrose returned to doing nothing, and this was a mistake.

Ambrose vs Reigns is the perfect farewell match, as this is a contest that has emotional stakes that could live on in the history books.
