#1. Making way for newer tag teams
Aleister Black & Ricochet are essentially the new kids on the block in the main roster tag team division. The past couple of months has been the busiest they've ever been since signing with WWE, especially since they appear on RAW, SmackDown and even on NXT.
For some reason, they haven't been assigned a brand yet, but it can be safe to assume that after WrestleMania, there's going to be a clear direction on which brand they're going to stick to.
WrestleMania weekend is going to be the biggest of their careers. On Friday Night, they challenge the War Raiders for the NXT Tag Team Championships, after having won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
Their weekend doesn't end there for them, as they will be one of the four teams challenging for the SmackDown tag titles. It's likely that WWE just wanted to make way for the new team, which is why they took a backseat in the tag title picture.
