Some of the things that could put the fans in a state of shock at WrestleMania 35

WrestleMania is just a few hours away from us now as the biggest yearly event of the WWE promises us its longest version ever. The match-card is stacked as there are expected to be around 15 to 17 matches this year.

While the main event is a triple threat match between Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair for the WWE Raw and SmackDown Women’s titles, the biggest attraction might be the battle between Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan for the WWE title.

There are some things that are expected by fans – like Becky Lynch winning the triple threat match and becoming the undisputed Raw and SmackDown Women’s champion – but we should always count upon the unexpected.

So here are 5 unbelievable things that should happen at WrestleMania and if they do, it would just shock the fans.

Note: The chances of these events happening are almost none and, hence, please take them with a bucket of salt.

#5 Demon Balor vs Deadman

Finn Balor is expected to bring his demon persona to the ring against Bobby Lashley for the Intercontinental title match at WrestleMania 35. Given the mystique and hype around the Demon, it would not be wrong to assume that he is going to squash the Almighty.

If that happens and the Demon Balor wins with ease after just a few minutes, The Undertaker’s music could hit the arena as the Deadman makes his way out to the ring.

The Deadman hasn’t been on the promotion for WrestleMania 35 and this might be the first time in a long time that he is absent during the event. However, he could come out to face the Demon, which would be a shocker but also a terrific matchup due to the personas they have.

#4 Demon Balor vs Deadman vs Eater of Worlds

This would be a dark match
This would be a dark match

Imagine this. The arena goes dark as Demon Balor’s music hits and he comes out with the black paint all over his face and upper body. After that, as fans expect Lashley to come out, the bell tolls and the Deadman walks in slowly with his epic entrance theme playing in the background.

After the conclusion of his entrance, the arena goes black again and out comes the Eater of the Worlds holding a lamp while the spectators hold out their phones to light up the arena.

And then the fight each other in a battle featuring the Demon himself, the Eater of Worlds and the Deadman – it couldn’t get darker or more demonic for WWE at WrestleMania.

However, this won’t happen because it wouldn’t make sense at all. Maybe Bray Wyatt and The Undertaker could come out after Balor beats Lashley but these are fantasies of my mind.

Nevertheless, if this doesn't happen at WrestleMania 36, it would be a waste of three great entrance themes.

#3 American Badass entrance

An underrated gimmick

I don’t know about the others but I would absolutely love to see the American Badass version of the Undertaker one last time. Many might not like this version of the Phenom but American Badass gave the Undertaker a lot of freedom on the mic.

Some of the Undertaker’s best promos in the WWE came with a bandanna on his head. So it would be amazing to see him make an entrance with a Harley Davidson bike and a cool bandanna over his head.

After that, he could take the mic and cut out a scathing promo insulting the hell out of the competitors who lost to him at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

He could then call out anyone in an open challenge and whoever comes out – perhaps Dean Ambrose or even John Cena – gets squashed by the legendary former member of the Brothers of Destruction tag team.

#2 Cena vs Angle

This is the match everyone wants
This is the match everyone wants

When Kurt Angle announced that Baron Corbin was set to be his opponent in his last match ever at WrestleMania 35, fans were visibly upset with the revelation. For them, it had to be a big name like John Cena.

So, the name of Baron Corbin was like a slap in the face of everyone who wanted a big name to be the last match of the Olympic Gold medalist. However, WWE could still put in a twist that could make the fans go wild at the MetLife Stadium.

As Baron Corbin waits in the ring for Kurt Angle to come and fight him, John Cena’s music hits out as he runs towards the ring and absolutely smashes Corbin (or they could have a match whose winner faces Angle but that would make the show longer).

After that, we have our desired John Cena vs Kurt Angle match!

#1 Lesnar winning WWE title

While this might be a very shocking thing to happen, there is a chance that WWE puts the main title on Lesnar – the one which is currently held by Daniel Bryan with Kofi Kingston challenging for it at WrestleMania.

After the match between Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania, Vince McMahon’s music could hit before he comes out to announce that Kofi/Bryan (whoever is the winner of that match) will have to defend his title against Lesnar right then and there.

Brock Lesnar’s music could suddenly hit as he makes his way to the ring accompanied by the one and only Paul Heyman.

As the whole WWE Universe looks shocked, Lesnar comes in and puts Kofi Kingston or Daniel Bryan (whoever has the title at the time) through a series of F5s before pinning the champion for the win.
