5 controversial decisions WWE must not make at WrestleMania 36

#2 Pointless battle royal match

WWE may use a small roster of Superstars for this year's WrestleMania, and that could mean that only the ones that have been booked for the show will be at the Performance Center. And with reports suggesting that there will be fewer matches, we may not even have matches on the pre-show.

WrestleMania is the pinnacle for any pro wrestler which is why WWE has tried to book most of their talent for the show, either in singles and tag team matches, or in a battle royal. The battle royal is a pointless exercise as it is on the pre-show and the winner has not benefitted in any way, unlike the Royal Rumble match.

Braun Strowman, Matt Hardy, and Mojo Rawley have won the last three editions of the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania, and none of the three Superstars gained anything from their victory. The same goes for the Women's Battle Royal, which was won by Naomi and Carmella in the last two editions at WrestleMania.

With no crowd, the eliminations and countdown may not have the same enthusiastic feel and would make for awkward viewing.
