Candice LeRae will be the wildcard to win the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal

As the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal is open for Superstars from all brands, WWE would love to establish a new star on the Grandest Stage of Them All by awarding an NXT Superstar a victory in this match. The former winners of this match, Naomi and Carmella, could not take much advantage of the momentum they had generated. However, a Superstar from NXT would benefit a lot with this win.

Among the female Superstars on the black and gold brand, Candice LeRae will be the front-runner to win this match as she has been one of the most dominant Superstars on NXT. LeRae was a part of team NXT that won the triple threat traditional Survivor Series match, and in fact, she survived that match along with Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai.

Another reason why LeRae should win this match is that WWE could launch her on SmackDown after that big win. The reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion, Bayley, has urged Candice to show up on Friday nights and challenge her for the title multiple times.

It is unknown against whom Bayley will defend her title at WrestleMania but by having Candice LeRae win the match, WWE can book her debut on the post-WrestleMania episode and kick-start a fantastic program between the two female Superstars.
