5 WWE WrestleMania 39 opponents for Roman Reigns other than The Rock

#4 Reigns completes the trifecta with John Cena

John Cena has fought Reigns twice in singles competition. He has come up short on both occasions, losing out by the narrowest of margins to the current Universal Champion.

However, if there is one thing we know about Cena, it’s that he never quits. He will be eager to get one over on the Head of the Table, and what better place to settle the score than at the Show of Shows.

Given how this matchup has taken place twice already, the stakes could be higher. The Face That Runs The Place could request a final match with Reigns, only for his opponent to demand he put his career on the line. It could give the 16-time world champion an illustrious sendoff, perhaps with a career-defining victory and a 17th world championship.

#3 Drew McIntyre gets his WrestleMania moment with Reigns

The last time Drew McIntyre fought Reigns, he almost had him beat. That was until Jey Uso interfered and cost him the match and a statement victory.

McIntyre has never defeated Reigns in a one-on-one match before. He will be hungry to right that wrong and return to the top of the mountain, but he has to knock off the man currently occupying that spot.

That could happen at WrestleMania 39, where the Scottish Warrior could finally get the WrestleMania moment COVID-19 robbed him of. By taking Reigns’ head off with a Claymore, he could have a landmark win.
