At WrestleMania 37, Asuka is putting the RAW Women's Championship on the line against Rhea Ripley. The two have had a brief rivalry on RAW over the past few weeks.

This year will be Rhea Ripley's second WrestleMania appearance. Despite being one of the youngest competitors on the card, Ripley competed at the event last year when she took on Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair.

Ripley was defeated by Charlotte and lost her NXT Women's Championship.

Asuka hasn't fared well at the Shows of Shows in the past. Her debut match at the event was in 2018, where she lost to Charlotte Flair, thus ending her streak.

This also made Asuka the only female Royal Rumble winner to lose her WrestleMania title match. Asuka also lost in her other two matches, and dropped the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships in last year's event.

Given the record of losses for both women at WrestleMania in the past, both women have much to prove in the RAW Women's Championship match.
