When he was in NXT, he was seen as the most talented wrestler and the future of WWE by the fans and management equally. There is no doubt about his in-ring talent. He was even the first Universal Champion of WWE. But, in 2018, his performance has taken a severe hit. His dialogue delivery is also below par as all his promos sound heavily scripted. Though he got a couple of shots for the Intercontinental title, he couldn't capitalize on that. His performance at the Money in the Bank and Extremes Rules were also pretty dull. At the last episode of raw, he had a great match with Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, but such matches are very rare from him. He is currently involved in a feud with Corbin, which is going nowhere and thus he can become just another jobber very soon.
