#2 Drew Gulak vs. Mustafa Ali

Akira Tozawa was a thorn in Drew Gulak's side during his match with Mustafa Ali.
Akira Tozawa was a thorn in Drew Gulak's side during his match with Mustafa Ali.

Drew Gulak made his way to the ring first, accompanied by his fantastic new Metal Gear Solid-style entrance music. He grabbed a microphone and discussed the changing landscape of 205 Live.

He talked about reaching for the stars in an effort to get to his desired "Drewtopia". He was angry at Akira Tozawa for previously interrupting his slides, which are always entertaining.

Because the world desperately needed a ray of sunshine, Drew Gulak gifted us all with the latest entry of his amazing 277 slides Powerpoint Presentation. Proposal #8 was "No Flipping." Drew doesn't understand how someone is supposed to know right from wrong when they're flipping up and down as well as left to right so much. He's got a point. Mustafa Ali interrupted before any more of Drew's slides were displayed.

Before the match started, Akira Tozawa appeared at the top of the ramp with a chair and a microphone, shouting his war cry.

The contest finally began with a series of wristlocks and arm wrenches. Tozawa chanted on his mic as Drew left the ring just to annoy him. The psychological warfare worked. Ali connected with a hurricanrana off of an electric chair setup.

He later hit a top rope crossbody. When Ali tried for a tornado DDT, Drew stopped him with a vicious knee while he was draped off the top rope. There were more chants from Tozawa at this point.

Gulak was forced to endure tons of Tozawa chants by the crowd. It was clearly getting to him. Ali utilized his diving through the ropes rolling neckbreaker. Gulak suplexed his opponent into the turnbuckles. Tozawa chanted even more, which caused Drew to receive a kick on his face. That left Gulak in position for Mustafa's 054, a direct violation Drew's previously stated No Flipping rule.

Post-match, Tozawa came into the ring still holding his mic. He rallied the crowd in one final round of his chants, adding insult to injury.

It was announced that Rich Swann will take on TJP next week. Backstage, Brian Kendrick told Dasha Fuentes that he felt bad for Enzo Amore. He felt responsible for being a part of the mob that attacked him. He'd been there before -- having an entire locker room jealous of you.

Kendrick then said that Cedric Alexander represented a generation of weakness. Cedric then appeared, attacking Brian from behind mid-interview. That laid him out. That was a smart move to prevent the inevitable interference in the next match.
