Asher Hale and Ari Sterling vs Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari on 205 Live

205 Live veteran and former Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese started the match off with Asher Hale. Nese struggled early on. When Ari Sterling offered to tag in, Hale shrugged him off. That would probably come back to bite him.

Hale was looking for a sleeper, but couldn't synch it in. He brought Nese down to focus on the left arm, before finally tagging in. Of course, he did so by slapping Sterling's chest.

Nese immediately escaped, leading to Hale criticizing his tag team partner. Sterling squared off with 205 Live's Persian Lion Ariya Daivari. Daivari suffered a bit of punishment, but when Sterling looked over at Hale, Daivari went low to bring down his opponent.

Daivari and Nese took advantage of the 205 Live newcomers and their horrible chemistry, taking over every time Hale and Sterling argued. Eventually, it was Daivari and Hale in the ring, with the former showing why he was one of the premier brawlers of the whole brand. A kitchen sink knee lift took Hale down, allowing Daivari to hammer him with elbows to the neck.

Nese tagged in, and 205 Live's Premier Athlete laid out Hale with a devastating crossbody block. Hale eventually got to Sterling, who caught Tony Nese with a kicking combination following with the forward rolling ax kick.

Nese tried to fire up with a big clothesline but whiffed it. Sterling ducked and rocked him with another stiff kick. Tony sent him to his corner with a chop to the throat, but Hale was fresh enough to tag in.

After breaking away from Nese's classic combination, he set the former NXT Cruiserweight Champion up for a major roundhouse. Daivari ate it, but couldn't save Nese from more punishment. However, Daivari did save Nese from an armbreaker.

The 205 Live OGs caught Asher Hale with a uranage/backstabber combination. Sterling broke the pin up, and Hale managed to rock Daivari with another stiff shot for a near fall.

As Hale took Daivari up top, the veteran missed Sterling hitting a blind tag. Daivari dropped Hale to his knees, and Sterling used Hale as a springboard for a flying hurricanrana from the top.

As the newcomers set up for some tandem maneuver, Nese knocked out Sterling. The 205 Live OGs planted Hale with a dominator/running cutter combination to pick up a much-needed win.

Results: Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari defeated Asher Hale and Ari Sterling via pinfall on 205 Live.
