In the 205 Live main event, Danny Burch faced off against Tony Nese. On NXT, Karrion Kross laid out both members of One-Two, leaving them injured for tonight. However, Burch is not one to back down and refused to opt-out of his 205 Live bout.

205 Live main event: Tony Nese vs Danny Burch w/Oney Lorcan

Tony Nese and Danny Burch both worked for the ground control. Burch's injuries hadn't healed up over the past two days, so Nese had the advantage early on.

Burch managed to escape Nese's grasp and took him out with a series of shoulder tackles and clotheslines, dazing Nese enough to lock in a headlock. However, Nese again took control, hanging Burch up on the top rope before hitting the triangle moonsault.

Nese worked over Burch's ribs some more, with recliners and body scissors. Burch managed to break away again and made it to his feet where he lit up Nese with a nasty brawling combination. Right hands, knees to the gut, followed by a suplex earned the Guvnor of 205 Live a near fall.

Burch wasn't the first to his feet off that suplex but won the trade of blows. A sunset flip failed, though, and the former Cruiserweight Champion rocked Burch with a spinning back kick to the jaw. The first one couldn't earn a pin. The second one left Burch nearly out cold.

Nese attempted the 450 Splash but missed. As Lorcan watched on, 205 Live veteran Ariya Daivari blindsided Lorcan gouging his eyes before sending him into the plexiglass. Danny Burch checked on his partner, who struggled to make it to his feet.

Nese rushed out to take advantage but decided against it, giving Burch time to collect his thoughts. Burch sent Nese into the apron then steels steps. On the inside, the high elevation Implant DDT spiked Nese.

Results: Danny Burch defeated Tony Nese via pinfall on 205 Live.
