Hideo Itami finally makes his WWE debut

After Monday Night Raw, it seems that Enzo Amore has lost his concentration, deciding to focus more on flirting with Nia Jax than watching fellow Zo-Train member Drew Gulak take on Cedric Alexander for a shot at his Cruiserweight Championship. After getting up mid match from the commentary booth, Enzo would miss Gulak's defeat.

Raw also saw the debut of Hideo Itami, helping his friend Finn Balor take on the Miztourage.

Opening

A recap plays from Monday Night Raw, showing highlights from the Gulak/Alexander match. Enzo leaves the announce desk distracted by his phone, causing Drew Gulak to lose focus, allowing Cedric Alexander to take advantage, pinning Gulak after a brutal Lumbar Check.

Kalisto and Metalik come out to the ring while a recap plays of Metalik saving Kalisto from a beat down from Brian Kendrick and Jack Gallagher from the previous week. Kendrick and Gallagher come out, cutting a promo on Metalik.

Kendrick and Kalisto start the match, but Metalik is quickly tagged in. The Luchador has a few chances to show off, flying around Kendrick and hitting him with a cross body from the top ropes. However, a quick tag from Jack Gallagher would turn the tables on Metalik.

Gallagher ties Metalik in the tree of woe and dropkicks his hanging knees. While the ref's back is turned, Kendrick takes an opportunity to choke Metalik.

Kendrick and Gallagher tag in and out, working Metalik's left ankle and leg. Metalik's momentum continues to be cut out from under him as the dastardly heels pick apart Metalik's leg. Kendrick throws Metalik into his corner, and puts him on top of the turnbuckle. Metalik fights out, and hits Kendrick with a unique top rope spinning bulldog.

Metalik finally makes the tag to Kalisto, whose lightning fast speed tears apart Gallagher and Kendrick. Kalisto hits Gallagher with the Salida Del Sol, but Kendrick breaks it up. After ignoring the referee's count, Kendrick and Gallagher are disqualified, and the two take their time tearing apart Metalik and Kalisto.

Kendrick and Gallagher use the steel steps to wreak havoc on Metalik's knee, with Gallagher holding his leg in place while Kendrick dropkicks the stairs into his leg.

Winners: Kalisto and Gran Metalik (By DQ)

Enzo, Arya Daivari, and eventually Drew Gulak, would take apart Tony Nesse after Nesse refused to back down from the Cruiserweight Champion.

Afterwards, Cedric Alexander interrupts Enzo's interview. Enzo calls Alexander "Mr. Second Chance," and chuckles at his genius joke. Alexander says he plans to show the WWE Universe that there is only one word to describe Enzo, who replies "Yeah, Champion."

Drew Gulak w/Enzo Amore vs Cedric Alexander

Gulak looks to avenge his loss on Monday Night Raw and make the Zo-Train leader proud

Gulak and Amore enter the arena first, with Enzo still dressed in his holiday best. A chant begins to break for Enzo, but Gulak takes Enzo's mic and screams "No Chanting."

Gulak cuts a pretty entertaining promo, talking about how there's a time for clip art (per his power point presentations) and a time for action. Gulak seems more hyped up for this match than usual, showing more emotion than he normally does near the end of his promo.

Alexander makes his way out to almost no fanfare, and the two start the match. Gulak and Alexander tie it up for the first few minutes of the match, pushing eachother around the ring, until Gulak takes over with a few rough elbows and boots.

Gulak has the advantage early, preventing Alexander from getting any kind of momentum. Gulak attacks Alexander's legs, hoping to ground the number one contender. Gulak keeps Alexander grounded for a while, before Alexander finally breaks out of Gulak's hands, catching Gulak with stiff strikes and dropkicks.

The crowd has lost interest at this point, throwing out "Delete" and "Bobby Roode" chants. Gulak takes over again, hitting Alexander with palm strikes and kicks to the stomach. Gulak knocks Alexander to the outside and throws him into the ring post. The Master of the Power Point Presentation continues to keep Alexander on the ground, catching him with harsh strikes whenever he gets up, and putting him in various submission moves when he's on the ground.

After a unique standing armbar, Alexander finally gets some momentum going, catching Gulak with a jumping knee and a running dropkick into the corner. Alexander catches Gulak with a springboard clothesline, getting a two count.

Gulak counters the Lumbar Check into a pin attempt, and the two begin to trade pinning attempts. Gulak baits an Alexander counter, possibly looking for the Spanish Fly, into a spinning clothesline, but only manages to get a two count.

Gulak puts Alexander on the outside, but Alexander hits him with an elbow, and catches him with a springboard flatliner. However, Gulak takes Alexander, who was distracted by Enzo Amore, and puts him into an ankle lock, quickly modified into an ankle lock/dragon sleeper like he used the previous night.

Alexander makes it to the ropes, and fights his way to the top turnbuckle with Gulak in tow. Gulak knockes Alexander off, and finds himself in a diving situation. Alexander catches Gulak's boot and turns it into a Lumbar Check.

Cedric Alexander def. Drew Gulak

Alexander and Enzo verbally trade, with Enzo taunting Alexander on the apron. Arya Daivari tries to sneak attack the number one contender, but eats a Lumbar Check for his trouble. Cedric Alexander singlehandedly derails the Zo-Train, and looks ahead to his Cruiserweight Title Opportunity.
