Isaiah "Swerve" Scott was desperate for a win on 205 Live tonight. Thanks to Tony Nese, he was taken out of the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Championship Title Tournament, as the Premier Athlete helped Jack Gallagher knock the cocky young Superstar out. Scott's confidence was shot, and he needed a big win.

Trouble was, he was facing Prince Pretty, and that's never an easy match on 205 Live.

Tyler Breeze vs Isaiah "Swerve" Scott

Isaiah "Swerve" Scott came in to the match low on confidence and missed a couple of his patent moves from the get-go on 205 Live. A leaping head scissors undershot, leaving him on the mat as Tyler Breeze asked if he was okay. Later on, he moved to the top but stumbled, allowing Breeze to rock him with a kick.

Breeze took advantage of Scott's lack of confidence, taking the fight to the young cruiserweight. Breeze launched him spine first into the turnbuckles and clubbed his back with forearms. However, Scott began to fire up, and rocked Breeze with a right hand that landed right on the button, nearly knocking out Breeze.

As Breeze rolled to the floor, Scott leaped onto the apron for a leaping boot to the face, driving Breeze to the ground. Back inside, a rolling flatliner dropped Breeze for a nearfall. Scott's frustration went from a weakness to a strength, as Scott continued to batter Prince Pretty with nasty kicks.

Breeze avoided a dive and landed a leaping enziguri, forcing a kick out at two. Breeze set up for a suplex, but was rolled up. He and Scott traded pitfalls, leading to a deadlift German suplex from Swerve, who spiked his opponent right on his head. Swerve lined up the House Call, but Breeze ducked. The Supermodel Kick was blocked, and Scott stunned Breeze wit a hangman's backbreaker.

Breeze managed to stay on his feet and responded with the Supermodel Kick, but couldn't get the win. In the corner, Breeze set up for the Cheeky Nandos kick. Swerve countered and slid out of the turnbuckle, setting Breeze up for the Confidence Boost and the win on 205 Live.

Results: Isaiah "Swerve" Scott defeated Tyler Breeze via pinfall on 205 Live.

Grade: A

After the match, Scott got in Breeze's face, and it was hard to tell if they were just trading respect or talking trash to close 205 Live.
