Hideo Itami and Mustafa Ali looked to end their rivalry with one final destructive meeting.

Last week's main event was recapped, highlighting the Fatal-5-Way where Tony Nese yet again pinned Cedric Alexander.

Lio Rush set up a feud with Cedric Alexander, saying that the former champion couldn't beat him in a 1-on-1 match. He also denied offering Nese any credibility for his win, stating that multi-man matches are only won by luck.

Tony Nese and Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy were backstage. Murphy said that Tony Nese should be involved in the #1 Contenders match next week. Nese said it doesn't matter which one of them is champion. The point is that they both sit atop the roster, and nothing can change that.

Falls Count Anywhere: Mustafa Ali vs Hideo Itami

Itami began the match strong with some fast strikes, knocking Mustafa Ali to the outside. Ali came back quick, taking Itami to the outside and bringing him down with a dive, getting a near fall.

Itami and Ali fought on the outside, trading blows and before Ali drove Itami into the steel steps. The two men made their way back inside, and Ali tried to set up his rolling facebuster.

However, on his way out, Itami kicked him in mid-air, forcing him to drop face first on the apron. Itami then went on to brutalize the Heart of 205 Live on the outside, driving him into the barricade.

Itami tossed a broken Ali back inside, doubling him over with a knee to the gut followed by a few kicks to the back. Itami kicked out at two.

Itami kept control by locking in a headlock and driving Ali into the mat when he tried to escape. Ali crawled to the ropes as Itami continued to kick him.

However, Itami went for another knee, only for Ali to counter into a schoolboy followed by a kick to the jaw. Itami then planted a superkick on Itami, followed by a second one to the back of Itami's head.

Itami shook off the cobwebs, attempting a running boot into the corner. Ali dodged, catching Itami with an enziguri before connecting with the rolling X-Factor facebuster.

Itami rolled out but was pursued by Ali. Ali went to the top of the barricade only to be cut off by Itami who took his legs out from under him.

Itami began laughing, demanding respect from the crowd. The showboating would cost him, as Ali regained composure, leaping over the barricade with a cross body. Ali then launched Itami into the announce table.

Ali cleared the table in an attempt to put Itami through it. However, Itami escaped a powerbomb attempt and locked in a single leg Boston Crab.

Ali broke out, only to be met with a big boot which drove him off the table and into the turnbuckle. Ali kicked out at two.

Itami tossed Ali over the barricade, causing him to crash into the concrete floor. Itami's showboating, again, cost him here, as he was met with a superkick when he jumped over.

Ali tossed Itami back over but was met with a vicious kick while crossing over the barricade. Itami then launched his opponent shoulder first into the steel steps.

Itami looked to try to drive Ali into the steps, but the Heart of 205 Live broke away, and the cruiserweights traded strikes. Ali avoided a back suplex only to be met with a clothesline that turned him inside out, leaving him almost unconscious on the ramp.

Itami took Ali back inside, looking to drive him off the top onto the stairs. Ali, instead, knocked him off. Itami slowly stood up, but Ali leaped from the top, taking his rival to the ground with a crossbody. Itami kicked out at two.

Ali went under the apron and grabbed a table, but was met with yet another devastating running boot, driving Ali face first into the barricade.

Itami positioned another set of steps in front of Ali. Ali fought back and tried to dive off the steps. Itami, like many times before, cut his feet out from under him.

Ali fell stomach first across the steps. Itami picked up the other set of steps and tried to drive them into Ali, attempting to sandwich him between the steel.

Ali avoided it, then used the steps to connect with a punishing tornado DDT. Instead of going for the pin, though, Ali set up the table, putting Itami on top.

Ali went to the top and went through Itami and the table with a 450 Splash.

Results: Mustafa Ali defeated Hideo Itami via pinfall.

Ali said that he always respected Itami, who laid broken and unconscious amidst the wreckage of the table.

Drake Maverick revealed that The Premier Athlete, Tony Nese, will face Mustafa Ali for the #1 Contendership on the next edition of 205 Live.
