4 reasons why Undertaker's health could be at risk vs Brock Lesnar inside Hell In A Cell

The time the Deadman fell

The final bout in this feud! The Undertaker is a beloved figure in the wresting business. His gimmick debuted almost twenty-five years ago, and has never looked back. The man is such a legend that he didn't need extensive title reigns or anything as such to become the icon that he did become. His legacy almost lived through his Streak at WrestleMania, until of course, that came to an end in the hands of his opponent at the upcoming Hell In A Cell. What happened in that match was devastating. Forty-nine years old at the time, The Undertaker required immediate medical attention after the match and was rushed to a hospital to tend to the serious concussion he had received during the match.Sure, he's looked much better in his two matches so far this year, one being against Bray Wyatt, which he won, and the other being against Brock Lesnar again, which he also won, kind of. It's the controversial finish to that match that arguably led to this next one. Now, on the topic of this next match, it is inside Hell In A Cell, and with The Undertaker being fifty years old now, and becoming more fragile by the day, let's look at four reasons his health may be serious risk on October 25th.

#1 What happened at WrestleMania XXX

The time the Deadman fell

Firstly, let’s take a step into memory lane and remember how The Undertaker was utterly destroyed at WrestleMania last year, and not just figuratively. The Phenom was immediately sent into an ambulance after his match and was not seen for fifty one weeks after that!

There was also some heavy criticism of that match, as The Undertaker simply couldn’t go like he used to, and it felt like it was dragging on for a long time. That wasn’t the biggest criticism of the match though, that one would be obvious.

It looks as though The Undertaker has been much better in the ring since then, considering his two performances this year so far.

#2 His opponent

A potential serious danger

Brock Lesnar is incredibly gifted, and an exceptional wrestler. He does have a problem though, and that is sometimes not being able to take into account the well-being of his fellow wrestlers. And it doesn’t exactly help that his whole move-set is basically just dropping the other wrestler on his neck. The Undertaker is facing a tough challenge of legitimately trying to not get hurt against Lesnar, who in some instances is simply too strong for his own good.

It would be potentially terrible for The Deadman if Lesnar takes a wrong turn in the match.

#3 The stipulation

Imagine being trapped in this

Hell In A Cell is the match that WWE themselves dub as their most dangerous and demonic match, and putting a fifty year old man with a recent reputation of getting hurt often in there, with a man who has a reputation of hurting people, could be a very bad idea.

If Taker was hurt badly in a normal match against Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX, imagine how badly it could end up when he is inside a giant weapon of annihilation. It isn’t guaranteed that the cage will be used profoundly as a weapon, but the last reason being explored could have something to say about that.

#4 The Undertaker\'s dedication

The Undertaker would probably give it all for the industry

Above his fragility, what has happened in the past, his opponent and even the stipulation of the match, perhaps the biggest problem for The Undertaker is himself.

The man has given everything he possibly could to the business but his life, and it feels like he is willing to give that too. The problem is, The Undertaker is so dedicated to professional wrestling that he overlooks his own personal well-being. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it definitely could be.

Because of the stipulation, don’t be surprised if you see Taker falling off the cell, or being put through the cell door to break it. It’s his pure will that won’t let him refuse to pull off any big spots and that could have consequences.
