Aleister Black will continue to be overshadowed on the main roster unless WWE fully commits to him. The former NXT Champion is a heel, so he needs babyface opponents because WWE rarely books heel versus heel programs.

With that said, there is a severe shortage of quality babyfaces on the blue brand. Kevin Owens, Otis, Rey Mysterio, Big E, and Daniel Bryan come to mind, but that's where the list ends. On the other hand, excellent villains like Lars Sullivan, Sami Zayn, King Corbin, Jey Uso, Buddy Murphy, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns dominate SmackDown's current roster.

The discrepancy between heels and babyfaces presents a colossal problem as SmackDown's villains outnumber the babyfaces. This creates a conundrum where WWE has fewer challengers for some of its most talented Superstars.

Aleister Black could get lost in the shuffle. There aren't many Superstars available for Black to feud with. Moreover, he recently turned heel, so turning him babyface again would be illogical from a storyline perspective.
