The Miz became WWE Champion in 2010 and not everyone in the locker room was pleased. (Step in Mr. John Bradshaw Layfield)
After all, he was in many Superstars’ and fans’ eyes, still a rookie. He was a reality TV contestant on MTV’s The Real World and was a contestant in WWE’s Tough Enough. (Which he didn’t win by the way.)
The Miz has gone on record stating the JBL was one the people who reacted to him in the worst manner possible for winning the WWE championship. JBL obviously didn’t think that the Miz deserved to be champion over some of the other Superstars in the locker room.
He claims that JBL made him on many occasions change in and out of ring gear in public bathrooms, and on some occasions, even kicked The Miz out of the locker rooms.
I guess being “Awesome” doesn’t work the same way as being respected in the WWE.
