Nia Jax's first title defense of her current Raw Women's Championship reign was forced to follow an instant classic between Seth Rollins and The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship. Bliss and Jax have a storied history following a controversial bullying storyline last month and it appears that their feud could be set to continue.

The Goddess made her way to the ring looking 'Blissed off' as she awaited the introduction of the new Women's Champion.

There was no love lost between these two women as Bliss ran straight in and looked to take out the legs of Jax. Bliss' game plan was obviously to use her quickness to her advantage but the Champion threw Bliss around like a ragdoll as she proved why she is called The Irresistible Force.

A kick to the face allowed Bliss to finally take Jax off her feet, but she was barely able to get a one count when she tried to pin her former friend. Bliss dominated the opening exchanges but her cockiness got the better of her and Jax was able to take advantage and went for the second rope Samoan Drop, the move that won her the title.

Bliss tried to counter it into a sleeper hold before she then locked in a headlock, Jax's showed off her power when she launched the former Champion part way across the ring and splashed her in the corner.

Jax went for a Splash in the corner when she was thrown to the outside and Bliss regained the upperhand when she sent Jax face first into the steel steps. Bliss was then able to gain a two count from the assault, but Jax again tried to hit the second rope Samoan Drop, but the former Champion riggled free and delivered a kick to the hamstring which caused Jax to fall from the second rope.

Bliss went for Twisted Bliss to seal the win, but she was caught in mid-air and Jax then delivered a Samoan Drop to pick up the win and retain her Championship, wiping out her first obstacle.

Jax then dedicated her win to all of the members of the WWE Universe who were victims of bullying as a way to show them that the bullies always get their comeuppance in the end.
