WWE Best of the Week

Some other bests of the week for me were the continuing rivalry between Daniel Bryan and Miz. Adding Brie Bella and Maryse brings an even more personal touch to their rivalry which can only be a good thing. Even though I did not enjoy Miz and Bryan's match their rivalry has been one of the better feuds going on in WWE as of late. Their promo prior to the match at Summerslam was top notch showing how long they have been waiting to fight so for this feud to really be a top end they need to improve their match quality.

On Raw we had a Championship celebration of sorts for Ronda Rousey. All the women of the Raw roster surrounding the ring with Stephanie McMahon inside. We have a short promo where Ronda brings all the woman of the roster up on the apron and tells them that Ronda is just like them.

Stephanie in heel fashion says look how she treated Alexa Bliss who was in a sling and stated that they would be no different. Rousey then would attack Stephanie again putting her in an armbar. After this Rousey would share the ring with the faces of the Raw Women's roster. I'm not sure what the plan going forward with Rousey is but every time she's on the TV she's a must watch segment of Monday Night Raw.

We round out the week with New Day becoming the Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions. In somewhat of a surprise that they would win, but according to PWInsder Erick Rowan is hurt with some type of injury forcing them to take the titles off of the Bludgeon Brothers. In what was a really good match between the two teams a lot of high spots which is always a cool thing to see on TV. It's a shame that Rowan got hurt I enjoyed the dominance of the Bludgeon Brothers, but let's see where this New Day run takes the tag team division on Smackdown Live.
