WWE News: Vince McMahon gets in on Pokemon Go action

Pokemon seems to trouble the Chairman

With its release, the Pokemon Go game has attracted a huge number of fans worldwide and has become a hot discussion topic on the social media platforms. The main concept of the game is to allow the players to capture, battle, and train the Pokemons, appearing virtually throughout the world.

For that, several places are marked as a ‘gym’ to train and collect new Pokemons.

Interestingly, it was noted earlier this week that a similar type of “gym” for this new mobile game has been located at the WWE Headquarters in Stanford, Conneticut. Dailywrestlingnews.com points out that WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon took to Twitter today and joined the craze of Pokemon Go.

He tweeted :

Pokemon Go has garnered mixed responses. Although, applauded by the Pokemon lovers, the game generates safety concerns as well.

McMahon recently appeared on this week’s episode of RAW and announced the new commissioners for RAW and SmackDown, Stephanie McMahon and Shane McMahon.

The Chairman also clarified that each of the two new commissioners will have to choose a general manager for their respective shows and announce it during next week’s edition of RAW.
