#2 Asuka retains her RAW Women's Championship at Clash of Champions

Asuka was handed the RAW Women's Championship by Becky Lynch when The Man was forced to head off onto maternity leave back in May. The Empress of Tomorrow has since defended her title against all challengers on RAW.
Zelina Vega was a shock challenger for Asuka at Clash of Champions and she took her by surprise when she slapped her on RAW, but it's hard to see Vega being able to do that again.
The fact that this match has been put on the kick-off show for Clash of Champions means that there could be a straight forward plan and that is perhaps to have Asuka make light work of Zelina Vega before the main show.
It's impressive that the former NXT star has been able to put herself in this position after only leaving Andrade and Angel Garza just over a week ago, and there will be plenty of women's championship matches in her future.
Unless Vega is assisted by outside interference, then it's likely that this match will go the same way as many of The Empress of Tomorrow's other championship defenses over the past few months, and Vega will be easily defeated.
