Will Randy Orton equal Triple H's record this weekend?

Randy Orton takes on Kofi Kingston this weekend at Clash of Champions knowing that a win would make him a 14-time World Champion. Orton is a legend in his own right but he was unable to walk out as Champion following their original match at SummerSlam and Kingston looks to have only stepped up his game in the past month.

Ric Flair and John Cena hold the record as 16-time World Champions whilst Triple H is next on that list as a 14-time World Champion. This means that Orton will finally no longer be third on the list if he can defeat Kingston this weekend because he will be in joint second place alongside WWE COO Triple H.

Orton has been working less and less over the past few years and is seen as the underdog heading into this weekend's match since Kingston has completely dominated the SmackDown Live brand since WrestleMania. This is WWE, remember and stranger things have happened so there's always a chance that Orton could walk out of North Carolina as Champion on Sunday night.
