Kofi Kingston was never alone in his walk as the WWE Champion. His New Day brothers Big E and Xavier Woods have been by his side ever since the three came together. But he is not the only one who has allies by his side.

Randy Orton found new friends in The Revival when Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder went on to assist the Viper in manhandling Kofi two weeks ago. They helped Orton in the brutal beatdown of Kofi who was left helpless in the middle of the ring.
Interestingly, the Revival will challenge the New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team titles at Clash of Champions. If Revival lose their match, they might end up being on the ringside to help Orton take down his opponent. That will force the New Day to be by the ring in case anyone has dishonest intentions.
But considering their previous encounter either of the two teams can snap. Hence, an interference by The Revival and The New Day may lead to a brawl which could end the match in disqualification. That will help Kofi retain the title without pinning Randy Orton.
