If WWE Day 1 produced a breakout star, it would have to be Liv Morgan. The crowd was already behind her as she went up against Becky Lynch and had one of the better matches of her career. Morgan has a great look and she is incredible in the ring too. Do not be surprised if, after losing twice, she wins the Royal Rumble and challenges Becky Lynch at WrestleMania.
#2 Worst: WWE Day 1 sees two wrestlers written off

There was a legitimate injury on the WWE Day 1 kickoff show, where Ridge Holland suffered Ricochet's knee landing in the wrong manner. Drew McIntyre, who has been dealing with a bunch of injuries already, was also written off after an assault from Corbin and Moss.
Considering how depleted the roster already is, these two injuries are a major hurdle in the company's road to WrestleMania. Hey, Sheamus got a big win in the Kickoff match, so maybe he'll get a massive push going forward.
