WWE Diva expecting her first child, Roddy Piper's last movie releasing in 2016, details

Rosa Mendes announced her pregnancy in an interview

- The last we heard from Rosa Mendes on WWE television, she was involved with Adam Rose after a split from Fandango. Just this past weekend, Rose was seen teaming with Brad Maddox as "Beef Mode" after teasing a return to his Leo Kruger gimmick. All of this was sans Mendes and now it looks like we could have our answer why. She's pregnant. She is due to give birth in February 2016 and is naming her daughter Jordan Elizabeth Schubenski, because her mom’s middle name is Elizabeth and she’s always liked the name Jordan for a girl. WWE’s website has an inteview with the diva, who announces that she’s pregnant with her first child.

As for what this means to her career:

“This baby has really motivated me and inspired me. I look at powerful moms like Stephanie McMahon. She’s a mother of three and she does it all, and her kids are bright and intelligent. So, this has truly motivated me. And, I look at my accomplishments — I’m a WWE Diva, I’m an entrepreneur and now I’m going to have the most important job in the world, being a mother and giving this baby an amazing life.”

She also commented the following:

“I’d like to thank WWE’s executive offices, the talent relations staff, the medical team and everyone that has supported me throughout this. I’m just really excited about this news. I’m really, really happy and I hope everybody’s just as happy as I am. I can’t wait to just keep everyone updated, post pictures and have everyone follow me on this little journey that I have for the next nine months.”

- Meanwhile the final film to star WWE Legend “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, who died of a heart attack last week at the age of 61, has found a distributor and will be released in January. According to Deadline, the faith-based movie The Masked Saint tells the real story of a former wrestler who becomes a small-town minister, as well as a secret crimefighter.

However it is to be noted that Piper doesn’t play the lead. The distributor, Freestyle Releasing, is the same company behind God’s Not Dead. The movie is based on an autobiographical book by a pastor named Chris Whaley.
