Bobby Lashley teamed up with Lio Rush to defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship in a handicap match against Finn Balor. Things didn't go well for Lashley as Finn Balor hit Rush with the Coup de Grace to win the title.

After the match, Lashley laid out Rush and it looks like he will no longer be Lashley's mouthpiece. Since Rush was good in his role, this may come as a surprising decision but WWE may have bigger plans for Lashley. More on that in the next point.

#1 Corbin and Strowman's feud continues

For some reason, Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin's feud still isn't over. Corbin beat Strowman in their NO DQ match at Elimination Chamber with help from Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre.

It now looks like Lashley, McIntyre and Corbin will be a faction of sorts going forward and that's the main factor behind this decision.
