WWE Elimination Chamber: 5 WWE stars who desperately need a win

We are officially on the Road to WrestleMania and Elimination Chamber is the final pay-per-view stop for Monday Night Raw before they land in New Orleans on 8 April. This means that if a number of the stars on the card on Sunday night want to ensure that they are part of this year's WrestleMania, then they have to make an impact.

Elimination Chamber will see both the men and the women create history inside the steel structure so it's the perfect place for both divisions to step up their game and even though it seems that there are obvious favourites to come out on top on Sunday night, nothing is ever certain in WWE.

Of course, the Chamber matches aren't the only ones on the show, which means that even the stars on the mid-card could be looking forward to potential spots on the WrestleMania card in less than two months time.

#5 The Miz

Given how white-hot The Miz has been recently, it's hard to believe that he hasn't won a match on pay-per-view since September 2017 when he successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship against Jason Jordan at No Mercy.

Miz has since lost a number of times as part of his feud with The Shield and even lost the Champion vs Champion match against Baron Corbin at Survivor Series. This Sunday he steps inside the Elimination Chamber in the hope that he will become the number one contender for The Universal Championship and go on to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, which in itself doesn't feel like that much of a reward for withstanding a stint inside Satan's structure.

#2 Finn Balor

Finn Balor needs a confidence-boosting win

Finn Balor returned from injury the night after WrestleMania 33 and has been somewhat unstoppable ever since. Despite this, Balor hasn't won a match on pay-per-view since TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs where he was able to defeat his old friend AJ Styles.

Balor put on a fantastic display at the Royal Rumble after managing to last 57 minutes before he was eliminated by John Cena. It seems that Balor has been pushing forward over the past few weeks but has been unable to gain a big win to prove that it's been worth it.

A win inside the Elimination Chamber could be exactly what Finn Balor is searching for and with there currently being nothing set in stone when it comes to a storyline at WrestleMania, it could be exactly what he needs to ensure he gets the chance to win back the Championship he never lost.

#3 Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt won the Elimination Chamber match last year to become the WWE Champion for the first time. This year he has been pushed down the card and instead is part of a match with "Woken" Matt Hardy.

Wyatt has been struggling to find his feet on Raw ever since he was moved over as part of the Superstar shake-up, but it seems that his feud with Matt Hardy could be set to give him his first pay-per-view win since the summer of 2017.

Wyatt hasn't won a match on pay-per-view since Great Balls of Fire back in July 2017 where he was able to defeat Seth Rollins and has already lost to Matt Hardy on pay-per-view as part of their current feud. It will be interesting to see if Wyatt is able to get back to winning ways ahead of WrestleMania, where he is still yet to win a match after four appearances.

#4 Nia Jax

Nia Jax could have been seen as one of the most dominant forces in the Women's division if it wasn't for the bad booking that she has been a victim of ever since she was promoted to the main roster.

Nia hasn't won a match on pay-per-view since she was part of the Royal Rumble kick off show back in January 2017 and managed to defeat Sasha Banks. Since then Nia has been part of a number of shocking storylines and hasn't been able to pick up a resounding pay-per-view victory in more than a year.

With the chance to fight the Raw Women's Champion at WrestleMania on the line, will Nia finally be the one who can overcome The Empress of Tomorrow and end her undefeated streak?

#1 Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss needs to retain her Women's Championship

Alexa Bliss goes into the Elimination Chamber as the Raw Women's Champion and the odds are completely stacked against her but it seems that if she wants to prove that she is worthy of the Championship, then she needs to retain it.

Alexa hasn't won on pay-per-view since TLC back in October where she managed to defeat Mickie James. She was later defeated by SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte at Survivor Series the following month. Bliss wasn't a part of the Royal Rumble and so wasn't forced to defend her Championship, but she did recently become the longest reigning Raw Women's Champion in the short history of the belt.

The Women's division has recently been dominated by Asuka's Royal Rumble win and Ronda Rousey's timely arrival so it seems that Alexa needs to do something to prove that she is still the top dog on Monday Night Raw.
