WWE Finishers that Really, Really Need to Go - Part One.

WrestleMania 31...
WWE finishers can be a thing of beauty - sometimes.

#4. Naomi - Rear View

US-WWE-ENTERTAINMENT
The rear view is a throwback to a darker time for the women of WWE.

Naomi is great, isn't she? Her new neon entrance theme completely reinvigorated her character. She has always been underrated in the ring but has recently had opportunities to shine, capturing the Smackdown Women's Championship. While not quite on the same level as Charlotte Flair or Becky Lench, Naomi can be relied on to put on good to great matches with almost anyone she works with and most, most of her moves are innovative and exciting.

Which brings us to that finisher: the rear view. Remember how WWE use to treat the Diva's division? Well, if you don't, it wasn't treated very well. Divas would get little to no TV time and would often wrestle in meaningless matches. Although WWE did have some very talented Divas on their hands, such as Michelle McCool, it seemed like they didn't want to give them the TV time they needed. Come Wrestlemania 32, and the introduction of a new Women's Title by Hall of Famer Lita, the women of the WWE are now in a better position than ever.

Naomi's finisher, though, does not belong in this new era for women's wrestling. The idea of basically using your rear end to finish a match is outdated and is something that would never happen in today's men's division. Conveniently, Naomi already had a couple of other finishers she could switch. Her split-legged moonsault and her submission finisher are certainly a better alternative than the rear view!
