Randy Orton walked into his eighth Hell in a Cell match last night and walked out as World Champion. The feud with Drew McIntyre pushed Orton to the peak of his Legend Killer ways. Despite losing his last two championship matches against McIntyre, he was granted the third match by the champion himself.

McIntyre had several legends in his corner at Clash of Champions, but this time around he was forced to go it alone in the steel structure. In the battle of Claymore vs. RKO, it was the latter that came out on top.

This Hell in a Cell win now meant that Randy Orton equalled Triple H's World Championship haul at 14. It also takes him just two title reigns away from the record, which is held by both Ric Flair and John Cena.

The fact that Orton is now the only active name out of the three Superstars on the list means that he could now be closing in on WWE's biggest and longest-held record.
