While Sasha Banks’ title win at Hell in a Cell will work wonders for SmackDown women’s division, the creative needed this victory for another huge reason. This year’s WWE Survivor Series is right around the corner. It would be epic to see RAW Women’s Champion Asuka and SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks locking horns at the battle of brands.

Most probably, we will also see the NXT Women’s Champion involved in this match. That would be Io Shirai unless she loses her title in the next four weeks. Irrespective of those circumstances, it would be great to see both Banks and Asuka square off. Don’t get me wrong, Bayley is a brilliant inside the ring. However, if she were to face Asuka, the result would have been quite predictable.

Not to forget, it was Asuka who took the RAW Women’s Championship from Banks a couple of months ago. Their meeting in the coming weeks and much-anticipated altercations will certainly entertain the WWE Universe. Moreover, Banks deserves to lead the SmackDown Women’s division in the last big WWE pay-per-view of the year.
