WWE Hell in a Cell 2017 is set to play host to what is most probably going to be the final chapter in the epic rivalry between The New Day and The Usos as the two teams prepare to square off in a Tag team Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship on the line.

While the rivalry has lost some steam due to the constant matches between the two teams on episodes of Smackdown Live, there is no denying that expectations are high because of the amazing pay per view matches both teams have put on this past couple of months. It's time for a fitting end to the feud.

So, without any further ado, here is our list of 5 possible finishes to the WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship match between The New Day and The Usos at WWE Hell in a Cell 2017:

#5) The Authors of Pain debut

Authors of Pain debut? Yes, please

The Authors of Pain are due on the main roster very very soon as there's nothing left for them on NXT. It's time to let Akom and Rezar loose and Smackdown Live is definitely the destination for the monstrous duo considering the dearth of tag team talent on the blue brand.

A shocking debut to take out The New Day at WWE Hell in a Cell 2017 would send a massive statement to the WWE Universe and set them up for the perfect first feud to establish themselves as a legitimate threat.

#4) A double turn

WWE has shown that it can really execute a double turn well. Going back 15 years, we had the iconic Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin double turn while more recently, we had the Enzo Amore and Neville double turn. So, why not one between The Usos and The New Day.

You could very well have Jimmy and Jey somehow survive despite receiving massive punishment at the hands of Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston. Then, Big E interferes on behalf of his team to get them the victory.

It remains an unlikely outcome though considering how well both teams are doing in their current roles as faces and heels.

#3) It's a draw

Honours even?

How exactly do you end this rivalry when both teams are so deserving of coming out on top? Well, maybe you don't. One possible - if unlikely - outcome is that the match ends in a draw meaning that The New Day retain the belts.

You could have a hellacious match (pun very much intended) that sees all the WWE superstars laid out and unable to continue. With the Smackdown Live Tag team division lacking serious competition, this is a good way to prolong the feud as well.

#2) The Usos win

With the number of times, the WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship has changed hands during the course of this feud, it would very unwise to write this off as a definite victory for The New Day.

The Usos have shown themselves to be extremely good in their new heel avatars and the WWE's creative might very well decide that they're the ones who should be coming out of WWE Hell in a Cell 2017 as champions. Big E, Xavier Woods, and Kofi Kingston might be the favourites, but don't be too surprised if Jimmy and Jey found some way to become champs again.

#1) The New Day retains

At the end of the day, though, it has to be said that The New Day are most people's favourites for the WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team Title match at WWE Hell in a Cell 2017. Their amazing value to the WWE cannot be understated and the WWE can make a lot of money out of the trio remaining champions.

If I were a betting man, I would be putting my money on The Usos coming up short and The Booty-licious trio of Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods emerging victorious.
