#8 Hell in a Cell match for the Universal Championship

Brock Lesnar made a surprise return.

The Universal Championship match started at a good pace. However, once both Reigns and Strowman traded their finishers for near fall, they became immobile.

As both these Superstars were lying on the floor, their teammates, Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose, surrounded the cell and started brawling. All 4 of them ascended the cell and continued to fight. Eventually, all 4 tired out and lay on the top of the cage.

As the six Superstars were lying, Brock Lesnar made a surprise return and attacked both Reigns and Strowman, rendering them unable to compete. Even Paul Heyman attacked Mick Foley. This provoked an interim referee to call the match off.
